TREASURER
All unexpended monies voted by warrant articles shall be returned to the General Fund or to any other fund from which it was appropriated by June 30th no later than five years after the date the appropriation goes into effect.
All unexpended balances on June 30, 1994, on warrant articles approved prior to May 16, 1989, will be returned to the General Fund or to any other fund from which it was appropriated.
Any outstanding bills or encumbrances existing at the time of the closure of a warrant article must be submitted to the Town Accountant and will be deducted from the amount to be returned to the General Fund or to any fund from which it was appropriated.
